Macrofungi of Borneo

Tropical fungi are poorly studied both from taxonomic and ecological standpoints. To facilitate growing molecular ecology of tropical fungal communities we have collected and sequenced ribosomal RNA genes from microfungi at Lambir Hills National Park, Malaysia. Sequences are deposited in GenBank and photographs can be found for each specimen in the drop down menu pages. Specimens are currently housed at Stanford University and are available for loan to qualified taxonomists. Use the dropdown menu to navigate between different taxonomic groups.
